The 15 relief appearance sample probably isn't significant enough to break down into such detail (2 Strike Whiff % per swing and heat maps) but the point is 100% correct. McGowan has been mediocre in both roles this year. We could really use another right-handed reliever.

Wasn't everyone praising Delabar for getting everyone on this program? Now it's the problem? Lol. I just think it's guys missing their spots.

Maybe the bullpen struggling has to do with the fact that almost all pitchers that spend significant time around Pete Walker get worse. Next year Stroman will be walking 5 guys per IP. The only guy who stays consistent is MB who doesnt even attend the pitcher's meetings.
