I didn't hear this so I will not jump to that conclusion. Another scenario could be that Cabrera is not feeling 100% and they prefer not to push him - cannot afford to have another regular go down with an extended injury - however he may be available to come off the bench depending on the situation. It may seem like it is only 1 day but playing with a minor injury may not be the best option at this time.
