eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 was the event peverted or was it all good? I'm pretty open minded and accepting of all people but it's a pretty disgusting event.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 You just decided that this would be a good time to get that off your chest? Yeah. So being "negative" on a baseball board is illegal now? Spanky will be the only one left then if that's the case.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 I could have sworn I just saw 88mph from Buehrle
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Bulldog gonna bulldog. Buehrle is worth every dollar this year. He is as close as we have to an ace this year.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 I could have sworn I just saw 88mph from Buehrle Get your eyes checked, such a blazing fastball will never be thrown by buehrle
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Man I want to go get some food but this Pride parade is ruining everything. Is today the last day for event? No, the blue jays have another 81 games
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Yeah. So being "negative" on a baseball board is illegal now? Spanky will be the only one left then if that's the case. dude... it's about having NOTHING to say that isn't "he's stupid" "that player sucks" "gibbons sucks" you NEVER have anything to say that isn't acidic. it was a warning. if I was abusing power I'd have just kicked you out. enough dude!
IBTrini Verified Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Hurr durr Gordon Beckam isn't stupid and actually did his job, let's praise him instead of wondering wtf Mastro thought he was going to accomplish with that. True, he did his job but that job seems to be lacking with the Jays. Not trying to support the broadcasters here but they could have also said it was a bad play on the Jays side as well. For all we know they could be handcuffed with any negative comments towards the Jays and as such need to say something about the play. Either way, hearing it just grates on the nerves a bit especially when it's so obvious the Jays committed a really bad error there.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 What actually goes on? It's just too vulgar. There is no need for a bunch of big fat hairy dudes in leather g strings. There is never a time or place for that. Yonge St. is a public place. We shouldn't have to see that. Keep it classy. What is currently going on is not classy.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Keep showing Glenn's AAA #'s. Doesn't make him any less s***** Buck.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Yeah we're not scoring today.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Im still blaming AA and gibbons....Gose could at least do better than that When things are going badly there is always someone to blame however remember Gose has also had his share of base-running blunders when he first came up.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Buck pronouncing Konerko like its spanish..
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 When things are going badly there is always someone to blame however remember Gose has also had his share of base-running blunders when he first came up. Mastro didnt just come up...he has been in the majors before and isnt he like 3 yrs older than gose

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Are you serious f***. I have never been in the city during the event. I don't go to Toronto in the summer unless its to see a Blue Jays game. Way to muggy. I have to walk around with a backpack full of water its awful. Its true I went downtown during pride once and have avoided it since. Downtown is pretty bad during summer though.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 I'm not even mad, I'm just genuinely curious as to what Mastro was trying to do there. Makes no sense at all. Assuming he was bluffing a tag up to force a throw to 2nd. Looks like his attention was on both the 1B and catcher running after the pop-up so he was caught unaware when the 2B appeared there for the backup play. All we can hope for at this stage is that it was a truly learning opportunity not only for him but for the entire team as well.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Buehrle sucks again....doesnt matter with our lineup today. Cant wait for Bautista, Melky, and eventually Lawrie to be back in the lineup
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2014 Author Posted June 29, 2014 In the broadcast: Pat encouraging people to swing at bad pitches in order to drive in a run instead of taking pitches, potentially drawing a walk and tiring the pitcher out.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 could AA be showcasing Mastro or Glen to try to boost trade value??
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Is melky just having a day off before our day off tomorrow?....if so thats beyond horrible managing
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Buck: 2.35 walks per 9 that's surprising considering he's 10-4. Paraphrasing
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2014 Author Posted June 29, 2014 could AA be showcasing Mastro or Glen to try to boost trade value?? Mastro was starting to build some value, then he goes and pulls a Sierra.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 could AA be showcasing Mastro or Glen to try to boost trade value?? Glenn has no trade value and mastro was already cut once this year, so I doubt he has any
