BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Pitchers have been going hard inside and soft away on these guys' date=' I can see it as plain as day. Not sure how nobody on this team is seeing it, or how our hitters simply aren't making the adjustment. But every single starter has been doing the EXACT same thing to us for over two weeks now.[/quote'] It sucks we aren't hitting but this is a REALLY f***ing hard game and there is no way we were going to be able to continue the rip we were on. It all evens out. We will pull out of this tailspin on offense. soon I hope. Last night the ump didn't help as if we weren't in tough enough.
Glock Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Just forfeit the series and don't even show up to Yankee stadium We play like s*** everytime Go ride your fixie down to the Salvation Army and have a PBR while you're at it.
felinefriendly Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Whitley with a gem start, prolly a couple cheap home runs on the way for the yanks Wilner will suggest we are still 1.5 ahead no panick

And he has only been a starter for a short period of time and with great success in the minors too. So that's a reason why he wasn't in any top 10 in the Yankees organization. Doesn't walk batters and has a great change up.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 "He's a baseball player." He's a true baseball player!!! Not those fake ones kicking around the league these days
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 f***ing Gardner again. Such a f***ing ****.
berenjenareturns Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Gardner keeps being a God against the Jays lol

Yeah, it's just frustrating to see a lineup this talented not be able to make adjustments over such a long period. Not that two weeks is that long, but when you're scoring two runs a game and NOT making the adjustments you need to make, it's kinda scary. If it happens now for this long of a stretch, it will happen again. I just wish somebody would tell these guys to lay off the inside fastball and sit on the soft s*** out over the plate. Instead it's weak pop up after pop up after pop up on the infield. Frustrating
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 welcome!!!! You're like Heimdall from thor, protector of the board
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 It's funny how the fans are throwing in the towel after being outplayed the first inning. Chill guys

Jays have been over aggressive in hitters counts and not waiting for their pitches, but rather almost looking like they're deciding to swing ahead of time guessing that the pitcher is going to throw a meatball. When there's something borderline thrown in a hitting count, they jump on it rather than waiting. They aren't forcing the pitcher to throw anything but pitcher's pitches.

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 I just want see two hits in a row, just two.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 We just can't score runs here. Can't.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Second time through the lineup, maybe we'll see a better idea here. 3-1 count to Reyes, swings at one borderline up and away, that should have been a take all day even if it was called a strike. It was a piss-poor pitch to try and do anything with. Then two pitches later, he lets the pitcher climb the ladder on him. Weak out to LF. Just a really poor AB.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 This is really frustrating.
