I listened on the radio. Was it really that bad?

 

The at bat to Gose, there wasn't a single ball in there for a strike, not a single one.

 

First 2 pitches were not even close to the strikezone, called strikes.

 

Gose could have walked on 4 straight pitches, instead he finally strikes out on a low pitch outside the strikezone.

Terrible. MLB makes a lot of money when they have an Asian superstar or two in the league. Reminded me of when Dice K made his debut against us. He did spectacular because for the first year the MLB would call everything a strike for him.

Replay should have been coupled with the firing of every inept ump in this league. The blatant bias and stupidity from so many umps basically cancels out the league's new increased desire to get the calls right.

Navarro s*** framer. McCann top tier framer. Tanaka excellent locater (get more strike calls). Likely Yankee home bias. (Most teams get a home strike call bias, and Yankees likely greater). Still bad.

The ump was s*** and so was Navarro. I'd be happy if I didn't see either one for the rest of the season.
