Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 I don't even give a s*** if his strike zone is BS unless it's favoring one team and not the other. Tanaka was getting BS call after BS call and Stroman got a big fat ZERO. Wonder how much the Yanks are paying him under the table? f***ing low BS strike call. f***ing away BS strike call. How about you guys give some blame to Navarro he can't frame. If Kratz was in there it would have been a different game.
felinefriendly Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Author Posted June 18, 2014 I listened on the radio. Was it really that bad? The at bat to Gose, there wasn't a single ball in there for a strike, not a single one. First 2 pitches were not even close to the strikezone, called strikes. Gose could have walked on 4 straight pitches, instead he finally strikes out on a low pitch outside the strikezone. Pretty much killed our rally
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 C'mon guys, get him trending on twitter. I used the hash tag #JordanBaker We need the MLB to take action. We can't have this in the game we all love.
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 There were also a couple of passed balls, pretty sloppy play behind the plate.

fireballW Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Terrible. MLB makes a lot of money when they have an Asian superstar or two in the league. Reminded me of when Dice K made his debut against us. He did spectacular because for the first year the MLB would call everything a strike for him.
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Replay should have been coupled with the firing of every inept ump in this league. The blatant bias and stupidity from so many umps basically cancels out the league's new increased desire to get the calls right.

Navarro s*** framer. McCann top tier framer. Tanaka excellent locater (get more strike calls). Likely Yankee home bias. (Most teams get a home strike call bias, and Yankees likely greater). Still bad. No. The ump was s*** and so was Navarro. I'd be happy if I didn't see either one for the rest of the season.
