On topic, apparently Norris may have got heavily scouted by the Cubs & Rays:

http://www.torontosun.com/2014/06/15/blue-jays-could-use-a-power-arm-in-their-rotation

"Lefty Daniel Norris made his 13th start for the class-A Dunedin Blue Jays on Thursday at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium before 809 fans and watchful eyes. Chaim Bloom, Tampa Bay’s director of baseball operations, and two Rays scouts were there, as were Cubs vice-president Tim Wilken, along with Blue Jays assistant general manager Andrew Tinnish, special assignment scout Russ Bove and pro cross-checker Dean Decillis.

Norris, 21, pitched five scoreless innings against the Daytona Cubs, allowing three base-runners on one hit and two walks, while striking out three. Norris lowered his ERA to 1.22 and has walked 18 and struck out 76 in 66.1 innings.

Now, the Rays and Cubs scouts could have been out for a drive and saw the lights and stopped for a hot dog, or they could have been checking out the Jays prospects.

"

I really dislike the idea of losing Norris. You just know all teams will be asking for him though.

Not every devout christian is a virgin. My best bud is nicknamed "The Hammer of Catholicism" for more reasons then one. Just like any religion, one can be pious while still having alittle fun.

Haha yeah... I'm a believer in God, but certainly love to have fun. This stereotype fits some, but I'd say it's mostly wrong.

After losing Henderson and Syndergaard, it would make me really, really sad to also lose Norris.

Curious why Drabek can't miss bats now.... with the Jays he usually was stingy in giving up hits, but of course was walking guys Romero style

Is he throwing nothing but fastballs?

When you can punch out Derrick Gibson, Stefan Welch, David Chester and Keury De La Cruz, you know you're a beast.

Yeah, not even their own family knows who those batters are, either.

Aaron Sanchez outing:

Walks Jean Fagot, walk Mike Hercock and 2-runs double by Jose Marica

I think he could be a September callup, he could be a rotation option by June 2015.

He's doing Hutchison numbers so far.... could be earlier

Norris:

4 scoreless , walk, 7 K's

16/2 K/BB ratio to start his time at AA.

Boner alert.

Between him and Sanchez, Norris should be untouchable trade wise.

I would trade him + other prospects for David Price with an extension.
