We have the best chance to make the playoffs in over 20 years and we do absolutely nothing to improve the team. Zilch, nada, nothing. I'm not saying go out and get Price but are you telling me that we couldn't get a fifth starter improvement for f***ing Happ? I would trade him + other prospects for David Price with an extension.

This was as much a fault with Edwin not playing first base often as it was Reyes. Reyes tried to use the turf and Edwin muffed it up.

Reyes purposefully threw that ball short and Edwin completely misplayed it on second thought. That was an easy hop for Edwin and if he didn't extend to catch it he would have made the play.

Uhh no. At worst Dickey is a 4-5 who has stretches of brilliance mixed with stretches of mediocrity. He's been bad these last three starts but he was very good the 6 or so starts prior.

I just hope the whole targeting pitchers with mechanic/injury issues doesn't keep biting us in the ass. It seems like most of the young pitchers we call up suffer constant arm issues.
