Jays: Hutchison has gone 3-0 with a 2.03 ERA in his last four outings after going 0-2 with a 5.59 ERA over his previous three. He allowed three hits with seven strikeouts over seven innings Monday before Toronto scored five in the ninth for a 5-3 win at Detroit. Jose Reyes is on an eight-game hitting streak and has reached base in 32 of his past 34 games. He is hitting .313 (36/115) with eight doubles, two triples, one homer, 11 walks and nine stolen bases in his past 28 games. Toronto has held sole possession of first place in the American League East for 17 consecutive days. The most recent time the club had been alone in first for that long was in 1993 (June 24 until the end of the season). The last time Toronto was alone in first later than June 7 was July 6, 2000 (46-40, 1/2 game ahead). Cardinals: Garcia surrendered season highs of six runs - all in the fifth - and eight hits over five innings Monday, but did not get a decision in an 8-7 home loss to Kansas City. The Cardinals have stranded 39 runners on base in the first four games of this trip and 57 over the team's past seven games. St. Louis is hitting just .205 while averaging 2.9 runs over the last 9 games, and Matt Holliday is among those struggling, going 4 for 27 in his last nine games. jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Thx fatcow. As always your GDT is top notch . I second this. Going 5-1 against the Detroit/St Louis would be incredible. Let's go boys!
kgm1 Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Series win - lets do it boys! Always the goal is to win every series at home and win or tie on the road. Jays have never been a road or interleague team so it bodes well that they are 19 and 11 on the road and winning against the NL teams. let us continue that today .

Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Is Zaun drunk? That was my initial reaction.
labadee Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I hate how it seems so many loudmouth dickheads seem to launch a career in broadcasting after playing a few twilight years in Toronto. Kypreos, Healy, Zaun...they're all just terrible. I actually like Kypreos, he's one of the more reliable reporters when it comes to NHL Trade rumours
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Plz call the breaking stuff Kratz...
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Has he only thrown FB? nope, 0-2 slider to Carpenter
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Hutch is up in the strikezone, he needs to work on it
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Really need to score quicky to breakup this drought
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 That is a left-hand pitcher murdering lineup, no doubt
Nabru Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 nope, 0-2 slider to Carpenter Not true. Every pitch was a low 90 fastball.
