Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 There is only room for one Cabrera in this series and it is the Melkman
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Big month this month. 10 games combined against the O's and Yanks. Keep building a cushion.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Damn I didn't know we were playing early. But it's f***ing awesome to come home to the Jays winning 6-3 in the 9th, and then Melky bomb! Can anyone give me a quick summary on the game? Happ kept it close and Juan Bomb hit a big HR

Can anyone give me a quick summary on the game? Jays went down early. Torii botched a bautista fly in right, Jays capitalized, and then slammed the door shut with multiple homeruns, yet again. Happ was pretty good.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Love seeing Pillar out there in LF this inning. That ball may have dropped
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Almost the same ball Melky didn't get to

Next half inning this happens: 1 Bautista got to second after the tigers f***ed up 2 Lind followed with a single; men on first and third 3 Francisco f***ed up for first out 4 Lawrie walked; bases loaded 5 Single by navarro scores one 6 single by kratz scores two 7 Gose grounds into dp Jays go up 3-2 Detroit ties it up in the 5th. Next half inning Toronto goes back to back (Francisco and Lawrie) and go up 6-3 Melkman homers in the 9th 7-3 Edit: oh yes. and ( . )( . ) boobs

Butterball came through with a big run scoring single with the bases drunk, and Kratz followed that up with a 2 run single (to give the Jays a 3-2 lead - Tigers were up 2-0 initially). Tigers tied the game at 3, and the Blue Jays went all fireworks on their ass in the sixth courtesy of back to back shots from Juan Francisco and Brett Lawrie.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Nice, man it's awesome getting something out of these failed SPs. I know it's easy to say just throw them in the 'pen, but it doesn't always work. Might as well try Deck next.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Thanks a lot guys, seems like it's been a fun game to watch.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Might as well try Deck next. Send down one of Pillar/Gose when Rasmus comes back DFA Redmond and bring up Deck or Send Kratz down (yeah he's good but 3 f***ing catchers)
labadee Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 CJ looking for another 0.1 inning save
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Did Buck just say Casey is coming on for the save? Lay off the bottle
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 lol the hell... he came out for 1 pitch -.-
