GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 GREAT WIN!!! How come JFas and BTS dont post anymore? They've both been pretty busy lately. Also, BTS is a Rays fan.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 So Wagner for Delabar tonight? Anybody who understands baseball will probably be better than Delabar. Who the hell dances around the plate with a 5 - 0 late... V-mart let him off the hook.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Nice to hear Zaun bashing the other team instead of the Jays. There's been a lot of that this year.
starfield Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Props to Reyes for getting that huge hit in the 9th. He made up for that blunder against the Royals at least for me

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Nice to hear Zaun bashing the other team instead of the Jays. There's been a lot of that this year. There where some negatives in tonight's game, but more positives and most importantly a win.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 What did Zaun have to say? On that Bautista hit in the 9th - the 2B should have gone to the bag.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 On that Bautista hit in the 9th - the 2B should have gone to the bag. That is correct.
starfield Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Dickey better give this team a chance to win
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 I think Bautista needs to have a talk with Delabar.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 #LowerTheBar Nice job as always Casey we just shouldn't have had to use you. A win is a win though. Well it just sucks now if we want/need Janssen in games 2 and 3.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Well it just sucks now if we want/need Janssen in games 2 and 3. Yeah it does suck. Guess the Jays are just going to have to crush the Tigers the next two games. I'm ok with that.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Dickey better give this team a chance to win Dickey needs a good start after his last outing, we need him to be good if we want to contend.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 3 game win streak lets keep it going boys. Tall task with Porcello on the mound but Im confident Dickey will have a good bounce back performance.
Andy Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 That's back to back great outings for Sanchez with 2 no decisions. Hopefully Robert Allen brings the filth tomorrow.

IBTrini Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Welcome to Buck Martinez Baseball Physics class! Maybe he meant Jays have shutout teams 8 times and was only shutout once.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Did Buck really just say we lost a game this year with a shut out I believe his mouth did not utter what his brain was trying to process. Sometimes things can be phrased incorrectly. Jays have had 8 shutouts and have only been shutout once.
Cooler Heads Prevail Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Why the f*** is Drew pitching to Navarro again? f*** sakes. Maybe because when Navarro catches we win games. And lo and behold, we won again. Hutch pitched 7 innings shut out ball, but I guess you can try to blame Navarro because Delebar has no control this year.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 If Kratz was catching, Hutchison would've gone 9 and struck out at least 12.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Props to Reyes for getting that huge hit in the 9th. He made up for that blunder against the Royals at least for me Yes, he used a nice short swing and got the momentum going. Lawrie had a more level swing rather than that long, loopy uppercut. Looks like the hitting coach is having a nice impact on some players' approach. It was a pitching duel which, for me, makes it feel like you are always in the game especially with the way the Jays hitters have been lately and a win just makes it even more satisfying.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Well it just sucks now if we want/need Janssen in games 2 and 3. Remember, he only threw 3 pitches so he should still be good to go if required.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Yeah this game was fun. Pitchers' duel and slugfest all in one game with a W to cap it off.
