Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 He's going to look reaaaaal nice in a Raps jersey in a few years. btw Raps pick #20 - TJ Warren or Nik Stauskas (JJ Reddick)
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 I've naired my ass only once. It made my ass sweat way more but no dingleberries and wiping was much easier.
Nabru Verified Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Won't get overconfident with the team. KCR and TB weren't playing good baseball. Though I'm happier with the offense compared to years past and I think it could even be more efficient. But an improvement, nevertheless. Grab another pitcher whether it be an ace or a number 4 and boot Happ either in a trade or demotion/bullpen then I'm okay with what we have.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 btw Raps pick #20 - TJ Warren or Nik Stauskas (JJ Reddick) Stauskas isn't making it to 20 lol
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Stauskas isn't making it to 20 lol He can pull a Kobe.

dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 KD isn't signing with the Lakers lol Thunder, Wizards, Raptors, maybe Spurs? You're smoking something strong if you think the Raps have a better chance of landing Durant than the lakers lol.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 You're smoking something strong if you think the Raps have a better chance of landing Durant than the lakers lol. I can't see Durant ever wanting to go to the Lakers. It's not even to do with the Raptors having a good chance, I just can't see him wanting all of the cameras and lights, which is literally the opposite of his personality, and playing with a broken down overpaid Kobe, prelobably Melo/Love, and nobody else. I'm feeling Russ to the Lakers though. UCLA connection, chucker, might have Love, etc.

He makes 15 mil off endorsements a year, which doesn't compare to guys like Kobe and Lebron despite being a top 2 player for a few years now. If he goes to LA, he can make at least 30 mil a year in endorsements easily.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 I'll admit I was the one that veered this thread off course But damn, I had no idea how far it wpuld go!

The Raps have an okay case, but he could prove his loyalty by staying, he could go to his probably favorite city in Washington, or he could go to an incredible organization that's starting to get more recognition that happens to be right near the university at which he played ball. And none of those cities except OKC are too small markets.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 If it wasn't for Navarro, Buehrle wouldn't have pitched 8 SO innings, he would've been even better, like -2ER.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 If it wasn't for Navarro, Buehrle wouldn't have pitched 8 SO innings, he would've been even better, like -2ER. Navarro calls a great game for Buerhle
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Navarro calls a great game for Buerhle Stroman's afraid to throw his nastiest slider to him, you know the one that counts for 3 strikes. If Kratz had caught him yesterday, he would've had 12K instead of 6.
flafson Verified Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Navarro should really work on his framing skills, i'm so pissed everytime i see he cost the pitcher a strike.
flafson Verified Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 From KC's forum: 4 pounds of back bacon, 3 French toasts, and a beer....in a tree. Go Royals. Dear Lord, please help Guthrie keep the ball in the ballpark against these home run beasts.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
