TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Buehrle just throws what the catcher puts down lol. His career has been amazing but I wouldn't attribute it to his IQ. Plays like the one he just made and plays like this require a strong baseball IQ. You can expect anyone to believe that he's had excellent catchers his whole life. Catchers can only ask you to throw what you've got, and the fact that he gets the ball where the catcher is asking for it consistently is also a testament to Buehrle himself, not the catcher. The statement that a guy has had an amazing career, but it's not to his credit, is kinda absurd.
