And I wouldn't classify myself as being strange for not wanting to be pretend friends with fake baseball fans, like others do.

 

You somehow turned a legitimate discussion about going for it this year into a rant about bandwagon jays fans. You do this on every thread you post in. You think other teams don't have bandwagon fans? Why even post on a jays forum if you hate jays fans?

David Price doesn't look anywhere near a pitcher worth unloading the farm for this year. He's turned into a home-run serving machine with shaky command. AA would also get completely bent over by Friedman.

10.2% SwStr. 71.2% F-Strike rate. Contact is down, swing rate is up. He's a very good pitcher. He's probably not as good as xFIP suggests, and definitely not as bad as ERA suggests. I'd guess somewhere in the middle.

 

I'd put together a package around Sanchez that they wouldn't take, but Stroman is off limits for me.

It's a dumb idea trying to contend putting an offer up for Price and using the farm. Firstly because emptying the farm further erodes any chance the Jays have at payroll flexibility in the near future. That is unless Rogers is playing shy with the money and plan on spending like the big market teams spend.

 

Secondly any offer we put out to the Rays could be topped by a myriad of other teams. Heck our offer could get obliterated by a team in our own division for Price and they still might have a better farm than the Jays.

There are always differences of opinion of who should be banned

 

Some posters just rub some others the wrong way but overall are acceptable members of the board. I can't just ban one out of every pair that doesn't get a long (and I know you guys aren't asking me too)

 

Moogy, CoolerHeadsPrevail, Gruber, , anemic offense, Spanky and some others really get in to it sometimes. But they're still acceptable/useful/whatever posters most of the time and aren't wrecking the board the way the above trolls try to do.
