Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 f***, Avila goes deep, 5-4 Detroit.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Yeah the Jays have to hope one team in each division (West and Central) run away with the division. That's their only chance, because they sure as hell are not going to go 13-2, or whatever they need to do in order to win 90 games. But if all they have to do is play 4 games better than one of Oakland/Seattle and two of Detroit/KC/Cleveland, then it's far more realistic.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 That was a hanger and a half, damnit Shaw.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Detroit beating Cleveland is not a bad thing. The Tigers are probably going to win the Central. They are not our issue. Cleveland and the Royals will be.
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 A's already lost that division.. P.S.> You seem drunk Where did you get the drunk s*** from? As for the A,s I meant take control of the wild card in that division . Pretty f***ing obvious they aren't catching LAA. You couldn't figure that out ?

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Is everyone drunk tonight? The West is already won. Angels have biggest division lead in the majors. Maybe.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Cleveland gives away an out, Kipnis on second with 1 out.
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Is everyone drunk tonight? The West is already won. Angels have biggest division lead in the majors. Are you the one drinking? If either the A,s or the M,s go on a run and get the one wild card spot and KC or the Tigers go on a run and beat up the other then the Jays have a shot at getting the 2nd WC spot . Unless that happens Jays could win most of their games and still be out. You can't figure that out?
TheHurl Site Manager Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 There probably is no closer I'd trust less than Nathan right now.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 kgm = dogg? why not for teh lulz
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Wait a minute, if Bourn is on deck, then that means Chisenhall and Kipnis are in the bottom part of the lineup? Wtf Francona?
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 "A,s" - Sign of drunkenness (not proper grammar) "they one in each" - Sign of drunkenness (not a proper sentence) "As for the A,s I meant take control of the wild card in that division" - Sign of drunkenness (WC's are not in divisions, they're in leagues.) LOL If that is a sign of drunkenness then half this board is drunk most of the time
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Damnit, Detroit hangs on.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Author Posted September 14, 2014 Did you guys forget about 2012? Never count out the fightin' A's!
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 kgm = dogg? why not for teh lulz I'll remember that slur. GD You know f***ing well I,m not the DOGG and suggesting that isn't a f***ing joke to me .
GD Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Only dogg uses commas in place of apostrophes... lulz How long have you been lurking lol? Must be years. I'll remember that slur. GD You know f***ing well I,m not the DOGG and suggesting that isn't a f***ing joke to me . In all fairness you kinda deserve it for all the oddly sexual remarks you make to the teenagers of this board
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 ^Classic case of mistake identity, my bad.. lol. You're too funny. He's obviously not the DOGG though.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Well, yeah, but I don't think lurking is the right word for it... I was always a poster too. You were on the old board?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 With the Royals win, the Jays are 3.5 back of the Royals (including the assumed loss vs. Cleveland). Luckily for the Jays, the Royals have a tough White Sox team who have played a little better recently and have Chris Sale in the series, plus the Mariners have automatic losses coming vs. the Angels. And if the Mariners sweep, the A's will be less of a concern. Basically, it's only the Mariners and Royals we really need to keep an eye on.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Is everyone drunk tonight? The West is already won. Angels have biggest division lead in the majors. I meant one of Seattle/Oakland has to run away with the 1st WC, since that would leave the 2nd WC open. Forgot about the Angels for some reason. And I'm not sure you know what drunk means.
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 You were on the old board? Couldn't have been if he thought i was the dogg . And god my grammer has been beaten to death on this board and the old board FFS.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Oakland just hit a HR. 1-1. Josh Donaldson. # Stud.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 I don't mind Detroit winning and taking out the Indians. I still see the Tigers winning that division. Beating the Indians and Royals will help the Jays. The harder team to choose who to root for is between Oakland and Seattle. We face Seattle four times, so logically, we should hope Oakland wins the 1st WC and leaves the 2nd WC open for Seattle/Toronto/KC/Cleveland. The only way the Jays can make up ground is if Seattle is the team to catch, since they can control their own destiny next week (assuming they don't s*** the bed in Baltimore and New York before then).
GD Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Why do I get the feeling any response to this will only serve to incriminate me some how... Yes. I will not stop pestering you until you tell me your username on the old board. Cause I'm nosy as f***, not cause I think you're Dogg. Probably.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Couldn't have been if he thought i was the dogg . jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Just no. This White Sox team just beat Oakland this week, plus Chris Sale is projected in the Royals series. Plus, the Royals do not score.

Well, with Cleveland's loss, it may be down to Seattle/Oakland/Toronto/KC, as the Indians are fading fast, now 4.5/5.0 games back. Don't forget, those Tigers are facing the Royals next weekend, and the Royals have not been able to beat the Tigers this season (5-11) Basically, the Angels and Tigers/Indians/White Sox will determine whether the Jays can make the postseason.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 I never had one username... I'm a passionate Jays fan, when the Jays are sucking I like to vent. I got banned a ton on the old board. With that, just maybe you can figure out who I was. Sounds familiar but I can't put my finger on it.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Extras in Seattle. You can imagine the Angels are liking this.. they'd love to see the Mariners pen worn, so that the Angels can run up their win total on their way to 100 wins, which is where they're headed.
