Should the Hive bee allowed to enjoy this team?

I've been thinking about this. As we know most of this board is controlled largely by a small group of people individuals that try to drive all opinion in a singular direction. Some of the common themes are...AA is the worst GM in the history of baseball, this team completely sucks.... AA sucks for not resigning Josh Johnson.... AA did terrible in not signing Ubaldo... AA sucks for not signing Stephen Drew... ect, ect, ect.

 

Even last week the Hive was horrified at the thought of the Jays doing well....... God forbid the team make the playoffs and AA last a while longer.

 

But god knows being that bitter must take it's toll. Surely it must suck sitting there rooting against Happ so you can gloat how awful a trade it was to bring him here in the first place (Not like anyone will ever hear of any of the guys we traded to get him). Just imagine how horrid it must be watching the Jays pounding the fur off the ball.... and not be allowed to be happy about it....... because you know... if the Hive was the GM, it would eternal playoffs in bluejays land.

 

They must be just dying to get in on the fun.

 

The question I have is this: Should we allow the Hive to enjoy this team? I'll add a poll and tally the results.

I think this needs to be discussed because we hear about this "hive mentality" all the time and I don't think it really exists in the way some people think it does

I don't even think he's the worst in baseball right now.

You are more likely to hear this from the supposed diehards during a losing streak than the group you are singling out. Most predicted this team to be a .500 team.

Mostly the analytic crowd but they at least could explain their reasoning. Personally I thought trading for him in the first place was a huge mistake.

Paint everyone with one brush much? I don't like AA, I'd like for the sake of the Jays he not be here...but I'm realistic in knowing that he's here for a bit now.

There are some people on this board that could build a great organization...but they would make horrible GM's.
