Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 this, never has he thrown 3 straight 95 mph heater. Gun is a little hot Guys occasionally reach back for some, Happ decided Cespedes with a guy on second was the right time to do it.
BarkatToronto Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 yeah this pomjam is pretty good
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 ugh Baut needs to get it rollin soon.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Bautista with an awful atbat...just had to put it in play
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 At least his pitch count is up.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Lawrie always seems behind the fastball, right down the middle.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Wasted, less then 2 out runner on third, have to score there.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 oh man another hit taken away from Lawrie
awsomest Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Bort the king of getting s*** on by babip
Convo Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Watch Pomeranz velocity and see if it's around the norm. To tell if the gun is off He's throwing 91-92-93 with the fastball and his average vel this year is 92... so gun seems fine
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Arr you serious...no luck for Lawrie
BarkatToronto Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Lawrie always seems behind the fastball, right down the middle. Nothing new, since his first game, he fouls of that first strike pitch right down the middle if instead of homeruning that he goes opposite field he'd have a higher average
Convo Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Crazy f***ing thing about Happ: his average velocity has increased in every single year he's pitched. 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 88.8 89.7 89.8 90 90.5 91.1 92.1 Though his top velocity hasn't changed much: 92.6 94.1 94.7 94.2 94.5 94.4 95.1
BarkatToronto Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Nice inside fastball only 92 though
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 He just keeps overpowering guys with his fastball...who is this guy?
