I wouldn't keep both of Soler and Betts. Soler's a better lock to start, but has injury concerns. Betts is the better talent, but doesn't have a clear path. I'd personality take Betts; talent always rises to the top.

That same manager in my ESPN league now offered me Corey Dickerson and Drew Pomeranz for Zach Wheeler, Ryu and Shelby Miller. The guy seems desperate for pitching so going to try and squeeze more out of him.

Okay in a 2 catcher, 5 corner (one 1B and one 3B required), 5 middle (one 2B, one SS required), 7 OF, 2 Utility, 13 pitcher standard 5x5 ROTO auction league with a $260 budget. I have a forced keeper at $39 in Troy Tulowitzki (if you trade for a player over $20 you are forced to keep that player for the next season) but a guy has offered me a late draft pick to get out of the deal (Tulo will still be a forced contract for him). My current keeper options (which I can only keep 17) are:

depends on when he got thrown out. He'd still go for $35 (under $25 if he's traded to the Mets) with likely me, and the guy looking to trade for him, doing the bidding. I'm probably leaning at not making the trade and just going on the knowledge that i have good pitching keepers and have a solid ability to find the cheap talent. I haven't looked at what others would be keeping but most guys end up throwing their big priced hitters back. There were a bunch of CO4 players (guys that have been kept for 4 years) who have to be thrown back into the draft. Bautista, Zobrist, Pedroia, Wright, Gordon, Ortiz. Plus I'll likely be throwing Cutch back.

20 team Dynasty league problem. I have Machado and Bryant (not a problem) but no SS. Am I overpaying by offering Machado for Correa? What about Puig for Correa (my other OF are Pederson, Polanco (PIT), Pompey and Santana (HOU)?

I also have picks 1, 4, 6, 7 & 15 in the first round of a two round prospect draft (2, 4 & 6 in the second round), but doubt the chance to draft Yosamy Tomas or Rodon would tempt anyone to give up the second coming of A-Rod.

I'd trade Machado for Correa. It's a good risk to take since you have Bryant. Machado doesn't really seem to have huge offensive upside.

 

But if I was on the other end of the offer, I probably turn it down.

 

Don't trade Puig for him.

 

Could also just draft Yoan Moncada, depending on your league rules.

Machado is a beast... IRL. Too much of his value is on the defensive side of the ball. Trade him!

Machado is one of the most overrated players in all fantasy baseball. Hits for an empty average, not a lot of power, not great counting stats. He's better in a non-OBP league but I'd trade him for Correa in a heartbeat.

That's a no-brainer. Castellanos is really ehhh and Mookie Betts is going to crush everything immediately.

I'm waaaaay higher on Castellanos than most people here, but that trade is a no-brainer. Maybe Betts struggles (certainly not improbable), but Castellanos isn't established enough to be considered a much safer pick anyway.
