Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 I'm going to game tomorrow hopefully the Jays didn't put the brooms away from last series. Eh it'll be tough. Happ @ 4.37 ERA v. Pomeranz 0.94. I hope Jays add +1 ERA to Pomeranz; but still, will probably be tough to get a win
BarkatToronto Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 There is way too much negativity on this board. This is a good baseball team, and as such deserves credence. I think they are better than oakland
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Pomeranz 3 scoreless outing; 5 scoreless innings each one.

Cooler Heads Prevail Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Dickey no control Okay now, he went on to pitch 8+ innings of 5 hit ball with only 1 walk. Only one guy hit him hard all day. First few pages of these GDTs are more comedy then reality.
HASHTAGYOLOSWAG Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 There were definitely some games this season that the Jays could easily have won, and looked like they were going to but the bullpen coughed it up.. I drool when I think about what their record could actually be. Still so happy with what it is though. I'm done trolling people on this board, the majority take it seriously when it's as satirical as you can get. I also don't understand why do girls always always have to put their mugshot as their profile picture. Literally no guys on this board do that. It's either a desperate call out for attention or a male poster pretending to be a girl.

IBTrini Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Wondering why people seem unwelcoming when we're all here for a common reason is not drama. What you just said is rude and unnecessary. Why would anyone new even stay around? Initially that's what drew them here however over time one or more of the following came into play: Difference in maturity levels, big egos, thin-skinned, low tolerance for those who do not have a good grasp of stats or the game. I am sure there may be other factors which does not come to mind right now. Anyway, you will ask find a few who are down to earth and love to talk about, or share their insights on, baseball. It's a great place to pick up/increase your baseball knowledge.

HASHTAGYOLOSWAG Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Agree, but the A's ERA's are inflated in that massive ballpark, they are a good deep team, but a bit overrated. Most of their starters have equal home/away dominance. Try again?
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 If she is seeking attention, as you said HASH, then you just gave it to her. Moving on, LOL that Arencibia roast by Buerhle in that fangraphs interview.

HASHTAGYOLOSWAG Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 I've just always done that, it's not for attention at all.. I get all the attention I can handle from my husband and guys in real life.. don't need it from people online. I saw others that I thought were their own picture, girls that is.. didn't know it was a big deal. I'll put something else there, sorry. Didn't mean to offend. Just trying to save you some grief. Some girls post their pictures on here and say "OMG you guyz r so annoyin, I didn't ask for dis atention!"
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 It's not real.... I realized that after I posted But I wish it was real xD
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Boston bases loaded, 0 outs, 1st inning, against Price. I think this means no-go on the trade for EE?
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 And Boston takes 5 - 0 in the first inning over Price. Thank you Pierzynski.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Most of their starters have equal home/away dominance. Try again? Sample size....the A's are not as good as they have looked. Chavez will come back to earth.

So she cannot show a pic of herself because some dudes have the maturity of a 12 year old and are still virgins? ROFL. It's a girl WOW, call the press.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Are we facing Tampa next? I think it's best to cheer for Boston to destroy their bullpen.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 His fastball actually was pretty batting-practice-esque. He picked it up as we went though and got better through innings. It may be as you described but when used sparingly it can catch the hitter off-guard and as such becomes very effective. When he is having trouble with his knuckleball the hitters can be more patient and sit back waiting for the FB to hit it hard.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 This is ironic, you've been nothing short of a jerk to me if I recall. You get treated how you treat others......amazing concept.
Ash70 Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 No worries, I didn't get any of that kind of attention nor was I looking for it. I just always liked the idea of putting a name with a face, obviously some boards are like that while others aren't. I'm a 34 year old married woman, I wasn't expecting to come here and get flattered and fussed over. I just love the Jays, and my husband and friends don't like baseball.. so I've always been kind of alone with that. Just wanted to interact with some fellow fans. Put whatever the hell you want up as an avatar and don't worry about it, or any potential arseholes, you'll bump into on here. Go Jays !
HASHTAGYOLOSWAG Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Sample size....the A's are not as good as they have looked. Chavez will come back to earth. I see so you're going on just speculation and conjecture. The A's have done this for years and years.
Ash70 Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Are we facing Tampa next? I think it's best to cheer for Boston to destroy their bullpen. back to back v long extra innings games please.

Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 I see so you're going on just speculation and conjecture. The A's have done this for years and years. What has happened previous years is irrelevant this season, and it is easier to do it in that ballpark and that division. Jays would be a contender nearly every year in that division.

AngryBird Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 I warned you, ignore the few group trolls, and your stay here will be great, you will see who they are very quickly. Welcome BTW. Ignore functions IS key, there are some good posters here, ignore the few dominant trolls. Oh my god the irony in this post is unbelievable.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Are we facing Tampa next? I think it's best to cheer for Boston to destroy their bullpen. As long as those two keep beating up on each other and remain at a decent distance in the basement then it does not matter to me.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
