I hope Jays add +1 ERA to Pomeranz; but still, will probably be tough to get a win

Agree, but the A's ERA's are inflated in that massive ballpark, they are a good deep team, but a bit overrated.

Okay now, he went on to pitch 8+ innings of 5 hit ball with only 1 walk. Only one guy hit him hard all day. First few pages of these GDTs are more

comedy then reality.

There were definitely some games this season that the Jays could easily have won, and looked like they were going to but the bullpen coughed it up.. I drool when I think about what their record could actually be. Still so happy with what it is though.

 

I'm done trolling people on this board, the majority take it seriously when it's as satirical as you can get.

 

I also don't understand why do girls always always have to put their mugshot as their profile picture. Literally no guys on this board do that. It's either a desperate call out for attention or a male poster pretending to be a girl.

Wondering why people seem unwelcoming when we're all here for a common reason is not drama. What you just said is rude and unnecessary. Why would anyone new even stay around?

Initially that's what drew them here however over time one or more of the following came into play: Difference in maturity levels, big egos, thin-skinned, low tolerance for those who do not have a good grasp of stats or the game. I am sure there may be other factors which does not come to mind right now.

 

Anyway, you will ask find a few who are down to earth and love to talk about, or share their insights on, baseball. It's a great place to pick up/increase your baseball knowledge.

His fastball actually was pretty batting-practice-esque. He picked it up as we went though and got better through innings.

It may be as you described but when used sparingly it can catch the hitter off-guard and as such becomes very effective. When he is having trouble with his knuckleball the hitters can be more patient and sit back waiting for the FB to hit it hard.

No worries, I didn't get any of that kind of attention nor was I looking for it. I just always liked the idea of putting a name with a face, obviously some boards are like that while others aren't. I'm a 34 year old married woman, I wasn't expecting to come here and get flattered and fussed over. I just love the Jays, and my husband and friends don't like baseball.. so I've always been kind of alone with that. Just wanted to interact with some fellow fans.

As long as those two keep beating up on each other and remain at a decent distance in the basement then it does not matter to me.
