Imagine feeding their Ace to the wolves? Farrel would get ripped.

 

They don't have a choice. All of their relievers are worn down after both Doubront and Buchholz didn't get out of the 5th.

Buerhle looks very hittable.

 

There are few pitchers I'd rather give a 6 run lead to. May be hittable but at least he'll make them beat him
