What I think is that the time to trade him for a good return is probably gone and he will top out as an 8th inning reliever.

 

Exactly...just like the Expos did with Johnson. . You know I'm still a big Trevor Bauer fan...I hate to trade pitchers at their minor league stats level. There won't be a bunch of GM's running out for Sanchez straight up for a major league pitcher right now. Jays will end up throwing in more and more as teams negotiate based on the same stats and red flags all of us are seeing.

I haven't watched him pitch at all but I can safely say he will be a bust.

Way too early to get a firm projection. All the BB/9 tells us is that his floor is still pretty low. The guy still has time on his side, but does need to start making strides if he wants to hit his ceiling in the bigs.

 

Other than that, it's all gospel.
