Jays: Buehrle has yielded four earned runs and 16 hits in 19.2 innings to win all three May starts. The left-hander allowed a season-high five walks but two runs in six innings of a 7-3 home win over the Los Angeles Angels on Monday. Buehrle, who's won all four road starts this year with a 0.92 ERA, is 6-2 with a 2.95 ERA in eight career starts at Texas. He gave up one total run in two outings against the Rangers in 2013, going seven innings and allowing four hits both times, highlighted by an 8-0 victory at Arlington on June 14. Adam Lind had two hits Friday and has batted .381 in his last six games. He's 9 for 17 in the last four on the road against the Rangers, who have dropped 13 of 18 and been shut out twice during a three-game skid. Winners of a season-high four straight road contests, the Blue Jays have outscored the Rangers 26-4 during a five-game winning streak in Arlington. Rangers: Ross went 1-0 with a 1.00 ERA in his first three starts but has gone 0-4 with a 7.76 ERA in the last five. He's posted a 9.98 ERA while losing three consecutive outings. Ross has managed to pitch better in each of those three successive defeats. He gave up four runs over the first two innings Sunday but settled down and allowed one more in a 6.2-inning performance in a 5-2 home defeat to Boston. The Rangers are 7-8 when the opponents start a left-hander while the Blue Jays are 6-6. Adrian Beltre is one of the few Rangers producing, batting .389 (7/18) in the past four contests while ex-Jay Alex Rios is 2/14 in the same time frame. jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 We should be able to sweep this series. So we're probably going to lose the next 2.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Where did the thread go It was too beautiful to exist in this world... *sheds a single tear*
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 It was too beautiful to exist in this world... *sheds a single tear* So, to recap, gruber lashed out because that one girl (probably some random dude irl) posted something which he replied to and GD jokingly said something along the lines of "lol you trying to get in her pants dude?"
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Gose worth .5 WAR in only 4 games. Better send him back down.

There really must be more to it than that... That's about the gist of what I gathered, but that was one hell of an overreaction of that's all it was.

LMAO
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Author Posted May 17, 2014 Did Jamie Campbell just call Redmond 'Reddogg'? Dogg? Is that you? I am convinced that Jamie Campbell read the old board. He said things that were basically board-only terms lol

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 give Noah and TdA some time to take that honour away This. Clearly Vernon hasn't been keeping up with the Blue Jays the last two years.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 This. Clearly Vernon hasn't been keeping up with the Blue Jays the last two years. Honestly will be tough for the Dickey deal to top this one.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 For the whole day I've had no idea who this Ross Jr. guy is, then I just saw that it' Robbie Ross, I didn't know he added the Jr to his name. I'm retarded.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 give Noah and TdA some time to take that honour away The Marlins trade was worse.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 The Marlins trade was worse. Each by themselves is not bad....put together they are beyond terrible.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 People forget how bad the Jeff Kent trade was. Yea we won a world series with Cone but he left and we won a world series without him in 93! Kent had an All-Star career and won the MVP award in 2000. I would take that all day if it meant another World Series Title.
