Jays: Dickey in his last three starts went 1-0 with a 3.44 ERA, though he's still having location issues. In Saturday's 8-6 loss at Pittsburgh, he allowed three runs and five hits while walking four in six-plus innings and didn't factor into the decision. Adam Lind is off the DL today and has been out of the lineup since April 15. He had been hitting .324 (11-for-34) with a home run and nine walks in 13 games. Jose Bautista's seventh-inning RBI single in Wednesday's 10-0 win extended his streak of reaching base to 34 games to start the season, the best since Logan Morrison went 34 to begin 2011. Phillies: In Burnett last four start, he went 2-0 with a 0.98 ERA and .179 opponents' batting average. In Saturday's 7-2 win over Washington, the veteran right-hander allowed a run and three hits while striking out seven and was removed only because of a rain delay after the sixth inning. The Phillies have now been shut out in two of three in the series - which began with a pair of games in Philadelphia - and has scored in one of their last 35 innings. Cody Asche is hitting .385 (10/26) with three doubles, two home runs and eight RBIs since a ninth-inning single April 24 at Dodger Stadium. His .767 OPS entering Wednesday ranked better than that of Jimmy Rollins (.758), Ryan Howard (.746), Ben Revere (.604) and Domonic Brown (.579). Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Dickey just has to be *decent* Yup. That's the sad part, this lineup just needs 'decent' pitching, not great pitching on a nightly basis with this lineup to win. Hopefully Dickey can get into the 7th and give the pen another short night of work.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Whole lot of hurt coming AJ's way tonight! Go Jays Go!
Spoonovic Verified Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Seven left handers against AJ. And the two righties are Joey Bats and EE who both have great numbers versus Burnett. This wont end will for AJ Burnett.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Let the Bodies Hit the Floor! Keep it rolling boys! Go Jays Go!

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Dickey was hit hard in the first. Hopefully he figures it out. Reyes keeps hitting the ball right at people.
