G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 First time on the radio since the season started I think Yeah he probably won't say anything we don't know but we'll all listen anyway. LOL
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Gregor Chisholm Anthopoulos claimed he never understood why media said McGowan was pitching for his starting job. Likes him in that role. #bluejays AA: "I can't talk specifically about other players on other teams, but generally speaking I doubt anyone's really engaged in trade talks." AA: "I have not engaged in dialogues, exchange of names, nothing. It's so rare that teams engage in trade conversations so early." #bluejays Anthopoulos: "I guess I can say this, I have not had any conversations with anybody about active trade talks." #bluejays Lind will play nine innings at 1B tomorrow in the Minor Leagues. He could possibly return Thursday in Toronto. #bluejays Anthopoulos did not sound keen at all on the idea of moving Lawrie to 2B on a permanent basis to make room for Francisco's bat. #BlueJays Anthopoulos does not think Morrow will require surgery on his right hand. Which means he could return around the All-Star Break. #BlueJays Anthopoulos says he is not currently engaging in any active trade negotiations with any team. All is quiet. #bluejays

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 What time? In a few minutes Ujiri on now. AA after.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 In a few minutes Ujiri on now. AA after. Interesting, they started off with the better GM.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 "Tampa and St. Louis sometimes start starting prospects in the bullpen"
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 (edited) Janssen to throw back to days soon. then activate or give one more week depending on how he feels/looks. Edited May 6, 2014 by G-Snarls
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Yea because the rotation is stacked with so many quality starters on those teams. Not the case here. Time to have Dickey start every 3rd day.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 Morrow the doctors say should not need surgery. could rehab and be back by all star break. Start holding breath now...
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 Lind doing great. Could be activated as early as Thursday. Going on some sort of preventative program
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Going on some sort of preventative program 15 minutes a day? lol he's been there and done that.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 Lawrie will go back to 3B after the NL games
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 Francisco will probably stay on the bench
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 And that's it Meh I missed some bullpen stuff early on
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 So I guess Wagner is not headed for TJS? Prob not Thumbs up to that
over500 Verified Member Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 I wonder how much longer people say this. I remember when Bryan Colangelo was a god. Ujiri was already a good GM in Denver. Colangelo was basically a puppet for his dad in Phoenix.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Prob not Thumbs up to that feel sorry for the kid, first AA s*** on him because he had options and then the baseball gods s*** on him. glad it's not as bad as they thought. Hope he gets back soon so the jays can get rid of some of the s*** they have in the pen now.

BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 I sometimes wonder if AA and Gibby even talk to each other on player movement or roster decisions! Lol
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 I wonder how much longer people say this. I remember when Bryan Colangelo was a god. And I remember when AA was thought of amongst the best GM's in baseball.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Gibby's idea to put Lawrie at second not AA's. Gibbons wanted Francisco in the lineup. True dat! But best line up he could use with what AA has given him! That but even by what each has said in the media seems polar opposite in what the other believes is best for this team! Just saying.
