fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 He said the same thing to me the other day. He hates optimism. Go Jays! We can tie this game! Too bad their playing no doubles, but we could still be a hit away from tying!

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Going in to this season there were so many holes in this lineup that they had no chance to contend..they are now finding their true level....this is a 75 win team at best. The offense is fine
Doc Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 This team could be something really special this year right anyone agree? At least they're not coming out dead they are always in a position to win most games until the bullpen comes in.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Oh man that would have been crushed
Convo Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Rasmus two gifts over the middle....... DERP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
frizzer1 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 The offense is fine No second baseman ,no bench...fragile shortstop....can't contend with the big boys ..
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Balk That's what I was thinking, was that not a balk?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Darn it Gibbons, AA, do something about that frigging pen! That's another blown game!
Top 10 Personal Catcher Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 lol, this team is awful Agreed. And what's worse is that nobody who actually matters seems to care.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 At first the starting sans Buehrle and Hutch was costing us games now the entire bullpen. f***ing amazing. f*** Paul Beeston
The_DH Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Gibbons and Walker fired, Cito finishes the season as manager. AA reports to Beeston. Just my guess. No way Gibbons can continue like this.
wardhenke1 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Agreed. And what's worse is that nobody who actually matters seems to care. You're wrong. They're 'all in.' (87-105).
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Jays stink right now.. but so does the entire AL East. What a joke this division is. At the current rate, no AL East team is going to get a wild card, especially with Texas and LA over in the West.
OtisNixonFan Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 f*** Colby for his s***** f***ing routes and his inability to leap/layout for s***. Look at guys like Cutch and JBJ, maximum effort.
wardhenke1 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Wilmer: "It's the players, not the coaches or the FO." What a tool. It's f***ING ALL OF THEM YOU f***ING DUMMY!!
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 And if the AL isn't bad enough, Jays are only 3.5 and 3 out of the AL East and AL wild card respectively. If we had a working pen, we should be at the top right now. Do something AA! Only 5 teams are above .500 BTW in the AL, compared to a more normal 8 in the NL. AL sucks!
wardhenke1 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Morrow on the 60 day DL with a torn tendon sheath!!!

How do you fix an entire bullpen though, I agree but that's a tall task.
Convo Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Up by 3 runs, sounds like a good number, just enough of a lead for our bullpen to give up Hopefully you're wrong! K.............. K. filler K cap
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 And Stroman coming up! He'll work out of the bullpen to start.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Call up Wagner (hopefully during the Phillies series) DFA Rogers Call up Stroman (wait, that's happening because of Morrow's torn sheath) Find a taker for Santos Get Janssen back

JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Why aren't they going to just let Stroman start? They have enough long relievers they don't use in the pen and why mess with something that's been successful so far, at least in the minors, with him starting? While they're at it they should call Nolin up and put Happless back in the pen hoping he might cry enough that he'll demand to be let go.
