jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 As expected John Gibbons has yanked Santos from the closer role. Aaron Loup will be the closer for the time being until Janssen returns. Considering his numbers outside the Cleveland game, it's the right move.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Author Posted May 3, 2014 Considering he picked up a save in the KC game, it's not surprising Gibbons chose him.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 We'll see what Gibbons does, but I hope he isn't serious about committing to anyone as closer. He should manage according to the situation.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 At least Loup can actually throw strikes. Give Santos nothing but low leverage apperances for a few weeks.
