I don't think it's good to dismiss things outright. If you can get someone like Headley for like 4/60 or something you should probably move Lawrie to 2B.

No, but more because I don't think Longoria has the range to play a plus 2B.

 

Lawrie has the best range of any infielder in the jays org. he could play SS if they decided to put him there.
