The US is the last f***ing country in the industrialized world to have even close to a reasonable health care system in place for their population, that is a goddamn travesty for a country that professes to be the "greatest country in the world". If you can't take care of the people in your country you are not a functioning government.

As bad as our offense feels, we're 6th in the league in runs scored coming into today. Offense has pretty much sucked all over baseball so far.

If they really wanted to give health care to everyone they would have just added a 1-2% tax on all income and given everyone health care.

 

what they have done now was never about getting health care for everyone. It is about govt taking control of health industry because they think they are so much smarter than everyone.

 

I'm a socialist, but not a marxist and think govt needs to administrate the country's social systems and infrastructure, not take control of everything.

their lack of proper education for everyone is almost as bad. that is something that stops poor people from ever being anything but poor.

Of course, with the shitweasels in congress down there, they could never pass that 1-2% tax for health care for all, that's clearly what they SHOULD have done, but that s*** would never get through their political system... The government really hasn't taken control of the health care industry, they've just put some regulations on them (no lifetime caps, you have to insure everyone, you can't offer really s***** plans, no pre-existing condition stuff...) the companies are still autonomous and they still rake in ridiculous profits on a system that really should not be in the hands of the private sector...
