jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Wonder if we still want to play Juan at 3rd vs Pittsburgh
kgm1 Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Lawrie probably gets that but I'm not dumping on Francisco
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Ballgame... Nice try though Hutch
kgm1 Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 i may have been wrong about navarro being slightly better than arencibia... he isn't on the defensive side
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I just don't understand how one can consider him or herself smart, and not at least be "conservative" economically. I consider myself a libertarian, but anyway liberalism or socialism (whatever term you wanna use) is completely based off emotion, and absolutely no logic whatsoever. Libertarianism is essentially "greed" wrapped in different packaging. I consider myself centre-right economically and hard left socially. That's why I don't vote NDP, because their policies, while they appeal to me on a personal level, are typically not financially sound. Obama is a centre-right, corporate-friendly politician. If this were the 70s or 80s his politics would be considered Republican. Hell, half of his policies are right of Saint Ronnie.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 he isn't on the defensive side That's what I meant... He's really not doing anything to prove that he's anything more than a sub-par DH. I mean, good bat for a catcher, but he really doesn't look like a catcher anymore (if he ever was...)
kgm1 Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 that's another player day to day. time to f*** off Sierra and DFA a dead weight pen arm to get 2 fresh bodies on the bench. This may finally move AA off his ass
kgm1 Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Nice effort from Hutchison. This lineup just has major issues right now. Can't blame hutch. Defense let him down

Have you ordered your copy of Capital in the Twenty-First Century as yet?

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Alright Navarro, you owe us something like 6 runs from the past couple of games... 6 run homer time.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 This may finally move AA off his ass it's funny how AA is still afraid of losing "assets" that no one wants. this is definitely a case of addition by subtraction being the right move.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 So what happened to the focus on defense, lol. Now they're looking for offense, it seems. Clear signs of not knowing what one is doing.

Raising taxes is "right wing"? Obamafail uhhh I mean Obamacare is "right-wing"? Targeting his right-wing political opponents and pretty much s***ing on the US constitution is "right-wing"?

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 That was fugly D twice......by Francisco. This game will be different, if he were in this game. if Lawrie had played we would have had better D and not having Sierra in the lineup. that makes them a much better team.

I suspect that AA has several broken extension cords and old newspapers at his house.

You probably think anyone slightly leftist = the devil right?
Jays Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 No bench to run for Francisco That's okay. If we tie it, we're really going to need that 8th man.....
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Gas can this inning Davis. I have Davis in the BBDL, so I have absolutely no doubt that he will. Feels like it always happens. At least I guess I win either way.

I've had so many of my top players go on the DL that I cant field a team without losing what will be huge players later in the year. I just have to hope for health before I dig too big of a hole.

He's raised taxes slightly on the wealthy, but still not as high as they were under Clinton (and still lower than they should be for maximum economic benefit). The debt "he" racked up was mostly on the books before he took office, you do realize that budgets are run through congress, not through the executive brancth right? And "Obamacare" is a complete giveaway to the private insurance companies in the US, so yeah, that's right wing as all f***. Seriously, just repeating "he's a socialist" over and over doesn't make it so.
