closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 its all those f***ing walks, there are a plague on this bullpen One of them was intentional. That was Gibbons and Navaros fault. Gibbons for calling it with Davis coming up, Navaro for not even trying to throw out the double steal.
Convo Verified Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 I know how we can win 11 in a row - call up the Kawasaki
Convo Verified Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Dumb camera work, goes to first on that instead of third
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Why am i even watching this s***.
Top 10 Personal Catcher Verified Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 I could just be upset about these past couple of games and the other blow ups, but, I feel like this team lacks the discipline and killer instinct necessary to put them over the top. I don't think they're a crappy team. For me, what they are lacking comes down to leadership. I could be off though. What do the rest of you think?
Convo Verified Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Lol Orioles BABIP........ I'm out too, cya
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Lol another ball finds a hole, I'm not even mad anymore.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 That, ladies and gentlemen, is a routine fly ball. As you can see, Colby Rasmus got to it just fine.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Good teams just don't cough up big leads like this. That debacle in Minnesota giving up 6 runs in one inning off one hit, then that final game in Cleveland where Loup loads the bases then has them all come in on a two out double. Now back to back nights blowing 5 and 3 run cushions to the Os. Hard to believe we can choke this many times in just over a week. Embarassing.

They have never won so they don't know what it feels like or even know how to, I agree it's the attitude they lose a game they leave the ballpark with no memories.

When the whole team save a handful of players (im going to say 5) are not even close to performing to their potential, then the Manager needs to be replaced. It sends the message to the rest of the team and also corrects managing errors (of which there are plenty in evidence). You can blame AA all you want, but he was smart about one thing: He didnt fire Gibbons at the end of last season. Gibbons can now be scapegoated. If the team were still s*** this season with a new manager, well then everyone can blame AA for a bad team. At this stage, the blame falls on the coaching staff. That is how it has always been in baseball and always will be. Coach is first to go, then players, then GM.
jays76 Verified Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Yeah but can you really blame AA for that ? Honestly I don't know the inner workings of what went down. My intuition tells me the Jays were trying to lowball as much as they could because they had the market in their favor and were lollygagging on the deal until another window opened for Santana, but in all fairness I have no clue what took place. Just another frustrated fan..
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2014 Author Posted April 25, 2014 Poor Hutch and f*** AA.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 No options. So apparently that means we have to keep him. I know but it still goes to show he shouldn't be on the team
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Well at least Hutch is a monster.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Lol , Gibby with the infield in. Maybe he's trying to get Rogers DFA'd.
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Leaving Rogers in is the only intelligent move of the night imo. This is where he is useful, when a game is completely out of hand.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2014 Author Posted April 25, 2014 Yeah but can you really blame AA for that ? I blame AA for not signing at least Bartolo Colon lol Wtf is the crowd on about? They're looking up and booing
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Lol kill me now bitch! ... I'm still here for the comedy
