BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 I don't really understand what you're saying, but you said that they had comparable AA numbers, even though Lawrie was better and 4 years younger. Better how? And he plays the more premium power position ! Yes because everyone arrives in the majors at the same age! Then let's get rid of all players over 25 in our minor league system so the are age appropriate then! Wtf
Cooler Heads Prevail Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 I can't remember the last time we had a good athlete behind the plate. Both TdA and Gomez are athletic. Maybe AA prefers fat slobs. But man we have had some fatties and unathletic players behind the plate. Catchers don't have to be super athletic. In fact, Navarro has done a fine job this year managing our staff and I have no problem seeing him catch for us several years. These constant reminders of Navarro's weight are getting stupid, sounds like something a high school student would post.

Convo Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 f*** off man This team does a bad job of cashing in runners on base Always been that way, for as long as I can remember.

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 They don't have to be but its a nice asset to have. Navarro's fat ass needs to be able to block Santos sliders in the dirt. I think it's a different bounce when the pitch hits the plate which seemed to be the case on 2 of Santos's wild pitches.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 He just left the bases loaded in the 3rd... does it really look that way? Yeah, maybe. He probably felt way more comfortable with the bases loaded since he knows we will not get a hit.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Pitch count You say that but do you know? Sure? What was his pitch count?
Convo Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 He probably felt way more comfortable with the bases loaded since he knows we will not get a hit. Hard to disagree with this, even though you're trying to troll.

And it doesnt matter how athletic you are if you are on the DL *cough TDA *cough *cough
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Hard to disagree with this, even though you're trying to troll. I only troll in regards to only one subject...lol
Cooler Heads Prevail Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 They don't have to be but its a nice asset to have. Navarro's fat ass needs to be able to block Santos sliders in the dirt. Every indication early in the season was Navarro calls a good game ( see Buehrle's stats ), and blocks pitches fine. Jays pitching is ranked where now ?
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Author Posted April 18, 2014 lol Santana broke his bat on home plate
