Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Goins is like the Ying Yang; awful hitter and terrific defender.
Ash70 Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 wow. we caught a runner stealing !! Some runs needed for Dustin. Please.
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Maybe he'll stay injury free for the next five and give us some of the promise we've been waiting for.
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Im confused... how was navarro able to throw him out while standing up??? Dont you have to throw from your knees?
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Can't believe this Pelfrey idiot has managed to get anyone out. And Why the f*** is Gose swinging at 3-1?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Gose hasn't appeared to be overmatched by MLB pitching in two straight AB's, something we can't say for a certain starting 2B...
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 how do we only have two runs off this poofter?
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 how do we only have two runs off this poofter? And how about 1 hit
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 You don't even what? Want to explain to me why a speedster is swinging 3-1 while facing a guy who is throwing more balls than strikes?
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Author Posted April 18, 2014 Does anyone else have a bad feeling about this game? Nope
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Mike Pelfrey lol I was just about to point this out lol, mistake on my behalf.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Author Posted April 18, 2014 He's somehow managed to carve himself out 1000+ MLB innings and $25 million in salary Fake it until you make it?
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 He's somehow managed to carve himself out 1000+ MLB innings and $25 million in salary Wins the lottery basically and puts up a 2-12 record with a 6 ERA over his past 14 decisions, must be nice.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Author Posted April 18, 2014 My bad feeling is rooted from your jinx, *******! Lol You just got to learn to trust me some times!
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 lol anyone see that fan topple over the seat?
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Goodness, nothing but terrible luck
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Author Posted April 18, 2014 .167 BABIP this game vs. Pelfrey and 8.87 xFIP lololol
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 He got a good pitch to hit and hit the ball hard. Thats exactly what you want... That's your opinion. I don't. I want my fastest player, and base stealing threat, taking that pitch. Regardless of what he got to hit, he hasn't proven he could hit a beach ball floating up there at 4 mph. That's a take all the way against a pitcher who has thrown more balls than strikes, give me a break already. When he proves he can hit with ANY consitency, he can swing 3-1.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 He's somehow managed to carve himself out 1000+ MLB innings and $25 million in salary In his defense he's had ~200 innings 4 times, has had 3 seasons of 2+WAR, even though he's never cracked 6K/9.
