Yeah I knew I was taking a big hit in future value with Kunitz probably only having a couple years left and Saad being 22. This gives me a big upgrade to my current team for this year that I think (and hopefully) will be worth it.

Young guys Cedric Paquette and Dmitrij Jaskin are available for upgrades. Google them! They're good!

 

Both have offensive upside. Jaskin has 109 hits in 38 games. Paquette has 105 hits + 51 blocks in 55 games (both while playing third line minutes, although Jaskin has been getting increased playing time).

 

Trying to win now so needs to be a clear playoff upgrade for my team.

I second this. I'm a big Stone guy. Marchand is a decent forward, but how the hell can you stomach owning a guy like that.

Thats one trade I'd like to have back. At the time I had too many players and since I had so many Ottawa players I felt it was best to trade one of them. As soon asI traded Stone he has been like a PPG since.

Should be a win-win trade. GD had some guys that he wouldn't be able to keep, and got an upgrade. I had a shortage of keepers and managed to add a 2 quality forwards.
