Frag Verified Member Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Divide Zscore by 2.5 before applying normsdist. I found 2.5 to be the best quotient that gives the best spread in W%. Seems arbitrary.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 BTS trades Lindholm, Baertschi and a 2nd to the greatest guy ever (that's me!!) for Carl Soderberg.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 BTS trades Lindholm, Baertschi and a 2nd to the greatest guy ever (that's me!!) for Carl Soderberg. Interesting. I think I like your side (but then I'm in a prospect phase right now).
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 BTS trades Lindholm, Baertschi and a 2nd to the greatest guy ever (that's me!!) for Carl Soderberg. BTS doesn't have a 2nd round pick. Edit: Could be the 2016 pick.
BTS Community Moderator Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Picks are actually my 1st and GD's 2nd.
Laika Community Moderator Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Hmmmm I think Lindholm is quite good. Nice rebuild trade for Gourd, even if Baertschi is a bust (likely) and the second rounder isn't worth anything.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Like the trade for GD but I see why BTS did it.
BTS Community Moderator Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 I kept offering Lindholm in deals but nobody seemed to want him. Not really sure why. Baertschi probably sucks, but might not.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Lindholm was the main target in the deal. Dinger and I are happy with this, considering our entire core has missed like 150+ games lol. Soderberg ranks very well though.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 I like Soderberg as a contributor on a playoff team. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like we're gonna be there this year, so moving him for a former Top 5 pick makes sense.
Frag Verified Member Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Lindholm could be a good grab by GD/Dinger
BTS Community Moderator Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Looking to package 2nd overall pick Ryan Murray up for more established D-man.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Looking to trade young player, picks and or prospects for a more established forward or goalie.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Whoever scrote squad is I sent an offer.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 f*** Kane is quite the hits machine
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 f*** Kane is quite the hits machine Yeah, and shots. If he gets moved to a *real* team, he's going to be a beast. I'm really sad to trade him (I had no intention of doing it), but I felt this was a deal I would regret saying no to. Now I'm really hoping Lazar misses a few games this year so I don't have to protect him on my 15 keeper list in the off-season.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Should have waited a bit on this deal.. Huh. I swear I had no idea. The last thing I saw said he missed the last game because he arrived in street clothes and broke the team dress code.
Frag Verified Member Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Huh. I swear I had no idea. The last thing I saw said he missed the last game because he arrived in street clothes and broke the team dress code. Now potential shoulder surgery. Ouch!
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Now potential shoulder surgery. Ouch! I almost feel bad about it. I really did have no idea, neither did I initiate the trade talks. The rotoworld notes are insane on the whole mess: First he was a healthy scratch, then they say he was scratched for violating the dress code, then he was visiting the team doctors, then he apparently got into an altercation with his teammates (who apparently threw his violating clothes into the shower to send a message). The upside for JFaS, is that if (when by the sounds of it) he's traded, he probably turns into a complete monster on a top offensive line.

Worse comes to worst, JFaS has one hell of a player for next season.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Worse comes to worst, JFaS has one hell of a player for next season. If Kane is out for the season, I think everyone else who makes the playoffs should be giving me their 1st round draft pick
Laika Community Moderator Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Kane is pretty overrated. (IRL, not really in a league that counts hits and shots).
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted February 6, 2015 Author Posted February 6, 2015 There was talk of Kane playing through an injury. He had planned to play out the season and have surgery in the offseason. But when the coach scratched him for the 2nd time in a year it might have changed his mind about waiting until the offseason. Kinda like a "f*** you" to the team.

King Old-Timey Member Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 But when the coach scratched him for the 2nd time in a year. Except that's not what happened, he skipped the game without telling anyone (ignoring phone calls) until an hour before game time.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Except that's not what happened, he skipped the game without telling anyone (ignoring phone calls) until an hour before game time. Sounds like a pro.

I just heard this during the intermission, he left the rink in a huff because of what Byfuglien did, what a hollywood whore he is.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Sounds like a pro. lol...prima-donna!!
