Delmon Young first start an Outfield. He does have a strong arm but hes a poor defender.

The ball was basically in his glove and Lind was just rounding second. You never take a chance at making the first or third out at third base. It was a wide throw or else Lind is out by 10 feet. He's out 90% of the time there.

Kawasaki is a good defender but he's not in Goins' class. Kawasaki might be better offensively currently,but not enough to justify the swap.
