But the Kalfus thread had more than runs it's course. It was a black eye on the site.

 

I have another idea to drum up business in the minors thread, let me try it out... Ignore the main thread for the next few minutes.

Anyway, before people start attacking me (lol), I'm fine with the Kalfus thread being closed. It's only causing problems with people for whatever reason, so there isn't much point to it anymore. I never understood why people got so angry. It's just one thread, the Whoppers rarely post about Kalfus outside of it. It's not that hard to ignore it.

 

I have been so busy the last few months I didn't know anything about the whole situation. Just recently found out it was such a big deal. I agree though if it's one tread I don't know why people don't just ignore it.

Look, it's obviously a divisive issue. Even amongst the mods it was 50/50 keeping it vs scrapping it. 2 for, 2 against. We'll keep it for now.

 

As much as Chappy, Hurl and I look after the place the vast majority if the time, Admin looks after the infrastructure/troubleshooting, and it IS his sandbox, ultimately. The main goal is growing the site. Shrinking the number of areas to post in might not help that cause.

By no means am I a KK follower but thats a f***in joke that you closed that thread on them. To say their the reason people aren't going to the minor league sub forum? seriously? It's one f***ing thread that they sit there and post in, they aren't forcing anyone to open it. Chill, bro. Gsnarls disclosed that all of those Kalfus fans are the same person with multiple accounts. That thread is a cesspool of immense retardation.

For those who don't want to have to look in the Kalfus thread, but are curious, here's what I said

 

This thread is being closed. It is not providing any value any more, and it has actually discouraged some people from coming to the minor league sub forum. I would even go so far as to say it is an embarassment to the board. It was good natured and amusing in the beginning, but it has gotten out of control and has gone on long enough.

 

Anything Kalfus does can be discussed in the main prospects thread. Any "spamming" of that thread or others with silly Kalfus propaganda will result in bannings. One person having 5 accounts to do nothing but post about one player in tje low minors cannot be taken seriously. (The majority of posts in this thread have come from 5 accounts run by the same person) Any new threads on Kalfus will be deleted. No disrespect to the player. He's a prospect among many and we hope he does well.
