Jays: Hutchison gave up one run over six innings in his only career start against New York, a 4-1 Toronto victory May 17, 2012. Jeter and Teixeira were the only current Yankees to face him in that contest. Yesterday's game was the 2nd shutout by Jays pitchers so far this year! The first coming on Wednesday when Mark Buehrle maintained a shutout for 8 2/3 innings. With his double in the eighth inning, Blue Jays center fielder Colby Rasmus snapped an 0-for-14 skid. Ryan Goins snapped an 0-for-13 hitless streak with a double in the second inning. Yankees: Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter enters play on Thursday with 3,318 career hits, good for ninth place on baseball's all-time list. He needs one hit to tie Paul Molitor (3,319) for eighth place on the all-time list, and fourth place on the American League all-time hits list. Sabathia has gone 9-1 with a 2.58 ERA in his last 11 starts against Toronto. He threw eight innings and gave up three earned runs in a 5-4 home victory over the Blue Jays on April 27 in his lone matchup with them last year. Sabathia allowed homers to Bautista and Brett Lawrie in that contest. Jacoby Ellsbury has gone 6 for 9 from the top of the order in the series, but New York's 2-6 hitters went 0 for 18 on Saturday and were 1 for 11 with runners in scoring position. Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Should destroy CC but jays offense usually does the opposite of what I expect.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 about time Fatcow! lol thanks as always. FOR THE WIN!!!! LETS GO BLUE JAYS!!!
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 Lazy Fatcow using 3 day old stats. I always do this lol I don't update them daily, if you want I can do them daily, but I doubt you'd see noticeable differences daily, especially deeper into the season
Muck Bartinez Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 "Hutchinson" in title is bannable offence.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 I wonder if using Steamer RoS would be better idk. I used to put that in but people voted it out (example: http://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/threads/216-GDT(1-2)-San-Fransisco-Giants-Toronto-Blue-Jays-Zito-vs-Dickey-7-07-PM-ET)
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 "Hutchinson" in title is bannable offence. I've seen men sentenced to death for lesser offenses than that.

Flamingweazel Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 A win today would be a real good start to the season, 4-3 in 7 against the east, with 4 of those on the road.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 For the first month or so I'd probably only use projections until stats even start to stabilize ok Projections for the first month, until May 1st? Sure lol
JuniorFelix Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Nice to see Goins out, unfortunate that it has to be Maicer replacing him. Go Jays! Looking forward to seeing Hutch go again.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 a series win would be great. 4-3 against the east in the first week... wow! wonder what the odds makes had the Jays at after Tampa and NY series?
theblujay Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Melky in CF? Lol And I thought our outfield defense was lacking on friday...
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Let's go Jays Let's destroy Yankees "#1"
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Melky in CF and Sierra in LF, i gotta see this
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Rasmus probably saved like three runs yesterday with his D/arm yesterday and now he's sitting so they can play Sierra. Not a huge fan of this.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Zaun's gonna be pissed at Gibby for sitting his boy Lind against a LHP.
Flamingweazel Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Melky in centre?? Ugh gonna be interesting.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Melky in CF and Sierra in LF, i gotta see this Triples for days
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 jerks and their knees need to relax!
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 I'd use Steamer RoS(U) updated every series. The (U) version inlcudes the stats to date + RoS projections. Where's the RoS(U)? All I can find is the Streamer RoS
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Zaun's gonna be pissed at Gibby for sitting his boy Lind against a LHP. I'm all for sitting Lind against the nasty lefties, but CC throwing high 80's doesn't qualify imo. He should be in there in games like this, at least for a few months at which time it can be reevaluated.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 I hate the Yankees so much that even if a naked chick was to walk into this room wearing a Yankees cap! I I swear I would only notice and be trans fixed upon her, f***ing Yankees Cap in disgust ! Go Jays Go!
jayswin11 Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Gotta say I agree with Zaun about Rasmus playing everyday.
Flamingweazel Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Zaun not liking Gibbons lineup. one of the few times I agree with Zaun.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Zaun's gonna be pissed at Gibby for sitting his boy Lind against a LHP. good call..lol....zaunie thinks Colby and lindy should be in the lineup...I can't say I disagree with zaunie either.
