saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 eddy's not a basestealer...should have slid to the back of the bag anyways..lol
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Maddon should've challenged that.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 That's why you slide feet first hard at second.
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Reyes got hurt lol. Goins will play vs. R, Diaz vs. L. After the Reyes injury they said on defense they wanted to keep Goins at 2B. Izturius can play SS. Maybe that's just Barry Davis reporting incorrectly but the idea was to keep Goins at 2B to get him fully comfortable there

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Making Archer work after that easy first inning for him
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 FYI, regarding the last time the Jays beat the Rays at the dump/House of Horrors/aka Tropicana Field, here's who played: Reed Johnson LF Overbay 1B Wells CF Frank Thomas (HOF) DH Rios RF Hill 2B Zaun C Clayton SS Troy Glaus 3B BENCH Jason Smith INF Jason Phillips C Johnny Mac 3B/SS Matt Stairs 1B/OF Janssen was the setup man at the time for BJ Ryan. For the Rays, Navarro is now on the other team, and Zobrist is the only one left from the 2007 team.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Well Archer's working his way out if this inning

vic city Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I kinda like Navarro's swing even though it looks like a 3 quarter swing. He's good at putting the ball in play.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 just missed...didn't look like a full effort swing there either...
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Buck needs new underwear every time a ball is hit 250ft.
