Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 8.2 earthquake off Chile. maybe that's what made the ump miss the call? I figured something was going to hit soon with all the small quakes the last week or so along the Pacific Coast and Yellowstone. For anyone interested, http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/map/
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I think you posted that before I posted. You get me. The timing makes it even better I'll admit
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Why do we keep hitting foul ball homeruns
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Author Posted April 2, 2014 The most puzzling move Friedman made this off season Trying to do the Rodney effect? A dude with control problems, but closed before with (recently) s*** numbers and a hard fastball + good breaking pitch?? (Rodney's changeup and Bell's curveball)
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Better than that Cobb kid! Thank god man, s*** I hate natural disasters f*** I was in LA for a 7.2 and in Hawaii for a tsunami. neither is fun, but we knew a day ahead that the tsunami was coming. just traveled inland to get away from any danger. there is no warning for earthquake. it's super scary when windows are breaking and everything is falling off the shelves and out of the kitchen cupboards.
ColdPint Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Jesus, for as much as Buck and Tabby are on Lawrie's nuts about how much better his bats are this year it would be nice to see him make some solid contact at least.

vic city Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Pretty sure Heath Bell has been in every baseball video game ever made, including Super Baseball 20/20.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Hutch has a chance to be our best home grown pitcher since Doc. I know we didn't draft Drabek but I really hope he turns things around as well. I suspect Drabek would have turned out to be at least a serviceable starter if Las Vegas wasn't the AAA team at the time.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Swung on a bad pitch I hope Seitzer tells him no need to swing at that
itsawrap Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 At least Goins is supposed to be a terrible hitter. Lawrie just straight up sucks.

Holy man, good thing you came out unharmed. There was an earthquake during the world cup in 2010 and I remember s*** falling and I thought my house was going to tumble over or something lol and that earthquake wasn't even that strong. I can't imagine a stronger one
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Author Posted April 2, 2014 f*** I remember that game, Matt Holliday cut his head on that slide to home Escobar with dat range doe
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Diaz made a nice bid there for a single, but no luck with the hole.

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Heath bell will turn to s*** next year, watch i. He threw a lot of offspeed pitches. His arm will not cooperate if he does that all year
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Edwin too, right? .000 OBP after this huge sample Edwin needs a hit...or my beat the streak streak is over

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Goins the auto-out. He made nice contact on his first two ABs.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Author Posted April 2, 2014 Yuni with a leadoff hit! DP pls
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 End of that Goins AB was disappointing. A couple pitches were well out of the zone that he chased in a full count
