I wonder if they are over the illusion that if they don't show any Spring Training games on TV it will make the fans more hungry for baseball. So they will buy more tickets for opening week.

 

Thats so stupid if true. Spring training is pretty s***** most of the time. It just gives the more hardcore fans a little taste of baseball before the season begins. Its a showcase for prospects and new players more than anything.

All things considered thats a major improvement over what we usually get. I really just care about watching the games in Montreal. All these games will be 1pm start times so I won't be able to watch them anyway.

 

I'm gonna be in Montreal to see em' live. Can't wait

 

Hoping for some Stroman and Sanchez innings those days. And a Goins walk-off HR of course LOL

 

But yeah 1 PM weekday games on TV won't do much good for most people. Maybe they'll mostly do weekend ones?? Of course, we all have PVR's now so that's good anyway.
