Ehjays Verified Member Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 The State of a franchise is always measured by Profits. top income sources are TV Revenue and Ticket sales. How are the ticket sales going. Last year at this time the phones were ringing off the wall. I don't think Navarro will cut it.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 *Shrugs* I bought my flex pack like i always do. I don't care if we're projected to be 1st or last.....i like watching baseball.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 How long until they start padding attendance numbers again?
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 As of right now I'm just planning on going to 3-4 games.. still need to get my bobbleheads If i wasn't on a student budget, I'd go to many.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Home opener is sold out again. Though I really don't want to go to it this season. It's such a phony game and atmosphere.
Brenner Verified Member Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 They have yet to announce one of the bubbleheads this year, maybe they are saving that announcement to spark ticket sales. After the pizza change it could be the biggest news of the off season.

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 What about the cowboy hat!?! Only bobbleheads for me I think my collection is at 11 or 12
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Come Saturday the day after the opener, we'll be looking thirdbase side in the 100 or 200 level, what's available, essentially. Would be a good game to go to, s***** timing with exams. Most likely Dickey starts that one too
SAAviour Verified Member Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Only bobbleheads for me I think my collection is at 11 or 12 I might have an old joe carter one somewhere...if I ever find it it's all yours if I remember....and if u would even want it.
flafson Verified Member Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 They will need to wow me before i go and watch a game to be honest, so far i went to 2-3 games and we lost them all by huge margins. I honestly don't understand how you guys like watching baseball on the ground, it seems so static and dry outside TV that unless there is a lot of action going on, it's very boring.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Didn't renew my fan passes for a third year. I want to get to some games regardless but ughhh my summer's gonna be busy. I know I'll be watching every game somehow, though.

I like watching baseball as well, and as you said, we buy tickets regardless, however its the general public, once they get some exciting news, it sparks sales. We need a spike of interest from them.

TheHurl Site Manager Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 They got smart and have gone to a card system on the 20 pack (no tickets emailed to you, just loaded on to your card when you order them). I haven't even bought mine this year (and am not sure I will). Judging by the lack of calls I've got from the ticket agent, I'd say that sales are okay.

Unless they reduced ticket agents with cut backs! We don't sign our ticket agents any longer than 5 years.
