Hit .315/.404/.500 during his last season in Cuba. Has been playing SS so he might be a decent bet to be at least an average-ish 2B defensively.

 

Eligible to sign Feb 19th. 23 years old.

 

What type of price tag are we looking at here? Anyone know more?

Heh, Cantu hit 31 home runs in 83 games in the Mexican league last year. Only 11 doubles though.

 

How is it even possible to get THAT many games at 3rd and 2nd and STILL be that bad a 1st baseman???
