Pete_7 Verified Member Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 We’ve lost some of the Twitter-a-holics we might have had around our team, and that’s where you hear the hype and the noise and the expectations and the outside stuff that can be good. http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/lind-pumped-trade-from-jays-didnt-materialize/

TheHurl Site Manager Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 If I were in the Toronto media, I'd be interviewing Lind every day to just to enjoy the stupidity.

It would make me cry at the state of humanity. Like when I found out that Snookie made more money to give a college commencement speech than I did all last year. Single tear.

Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 He called out JPA for sure, when you got a guy running his mouth off who thinks he's the best player and leader of the team when in reality he's the worst player in the mlb... yeah that would definately piss a few people off.

TheHurl Site Manager Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 He's married Only engaged isn't it? Him and Lawrie have both been engaged before, it doesn't mean that much.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 He's married what's his OBP with her? they got engaged last october, did they actually get married?
TheHurl Site Manager Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 I honestly don't understand. What's so stupid about what he said during that interview? It's not his worst...but this whole statement. “A lot of it was created by our own doing with social media, which is part of the game these days. We’ve lost some of the Twitter-a-holics we might have had around our team, and that’s where you hear the hype and the noise and the expectations and the outside stuff that can be good. But last year there was so much hype – I’m not going to say expectations because in the clubhouse, we’ll have the same – we just heard a lot of the noise from the outside world.” They thought they were good because of twitter or did Twitter cause them to believe they were bad? He's an excuse maker but he's too stupid to make good ones.
