jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 research man. Still should have set up a solid pay day if they can beat Mexico in the semis. True but at the odds i got i would have probably still made the bet if we decided to start our Women's team instead.

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 Canada lost to Sweden?! Make your pick in the pool you doofus. lol
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 Make your pick in the pool you doofus. lol I e-mailed him, I swore I took Cleveland already...
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 (edited) So in a pretty big upset Haiti beat Costa Rica to go undefeated in group B which means Canada get's them in the QTR finals. I'm still not sure what winning the Gold Cup would mean for Canada, i have been googling it and it's all very confusing. I think we have a pretty good shot at beating Mexico; we sat our Captain, Jonathan David (5 goals this tournament) and apparently someone else who is good and we were competitive with them. We also beat Cuba 7-0. Not sure how that's relevant but i'm going to point it out anyways. Edited June 25, 2019 by jays4life19
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 I'm on team Bob today. Let's go England.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 BOB?? What have you done? Sorry mate, I have no interest in women’s football. I don’t even know who won, haha.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Sorry mate, I have no interest in women’s football. I don’t even know who won, haha. Really? why? It was a really good game, USA won 2-1 and but England had a goal called back on the slimmest of the slim off sides and then got a penalty kick late to tie it and the girl missed. They really blew it lol.

And a bit like NBA vs WNBA, the strength and athleticism is miles behind even before you take into account the much lower potential player pool.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Just the billion pounds spent by English clubs this transfer window.............

Madkenstalin Verified Member Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 I can't see anyone but man City for the league. Almost feel sorry for Liverpool after losing one game all season but still not winning. Then I remember how their fans conduct themselves and all is well. Liverpool, spurs and arsenal for the champions league spots. Norwich, sheffield United and Brighton to go down. Leeds, West brom and D*rby to go up. Sent from my SM-T720 using Tapatalk

DAZN snaked the EPL away from TSN, so that’s the end of my keen interest since 1973. Most fans don’t bother to watch any games, it’s easy to fake interest.

Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 ManU is looking pretty sloppy so far Solskjaer is going to get sacked this season, he’s completely out of his depth.
