Is it the same as the garbage this guy is saying?

Back before the sexy new forum, we were on MLB.com, and every poster that wasn't a DDLer was Dogg, more or less. He had many minor personalities, but also major ones such as "raysjays" (forget what he was before that), "jaysnhabs" (i think), his friend that followed him around fellating him, and the worst of all, "high85." One night, we were all just going off on them, and "high85" slipped up, and said "I'm not high85!" when he meant to post from his "raysjays" account. Fatcow got a screenshot.

I still think it was a brilliant ploy by high85 to f*** with raysjays. By the way, raysjays? That would be the guy you're arguing with right now.

I was also neither. I'M MY OWN MAN, DAMMIT! A STRONG, INDEPENDENT WOMAN!

Kershaw is amazing... gives up 3ER and still goes 9IP with 11SO 0BB in under 100 pitches.

Just be thankful you are able to witness him pitch. In 3 years most likely he will become ineffective or hurt and we will be looking back to just how dominant he was. Knock on wood.

We also had poor old Deadpool who was always just a little confused.

Angels have overtaken the A's in the standings. A's now drop into the wild card race (but still with a 6 game lead.) Still, with sets coming up vs. the Angels, even that 6 game lead could be in jeopardy.

I think it's safe to say that both Oakland and LAA will make the playoffs.

Don't be so sure. Oakland's 9-11 in their last 20, and are having difficulty scoring, worsened after the Cespedes trade. Texas Rangers fans know about collapses.. it can happen. And let's not forget they play the Angels starting next weekend.

Being from the West Coast and such a crazy diehard Seahawks fan all my life its hard right now not to be super excited with whats happening with the Mariners. I want them to make the playoffs so bad. With that rotation they could make some noise!!

And thanks to recent struggles by the A's, your Mariners could still win the division, depending what happens. A's play later.. Mariners could cut their deficit to 5.5 games in the West with a Braves win. And the Mariners upcoming sked is a cakewalk.. Phillies, Red Sox and Rangers, while the A's battle the Angels.

Royals win again! Now a 1.5 game lead in the Central, and the Tigers are out of the postseason mix with the Yankees and Jays, as the Mariners refuse to lose. No help on the way either for the Tigers.. they have a big series vs. the Rays, and the Mariners are facing an awful Phillies team.

Poor A's... about to lose 5 in a row

Avg runs scored per game before Cespedes traded: 4.82

After Cespedes traded: 3.52

It looks ugly right now, but they'll be fine

What upsets me is how many home runs Cespedes is going to hit in Fenway park next year. :(

Angels offense is pretty intimidating and it hasn't fully woken up yet, A's may have a run for their money.

That feel when you can recall how people were laughing at Mariners for signing Cano

I was thrilled when the Mariners signed Cano!!

A fall from grace for Jackie Bradley Jr... Red Sox optioned him to AAA and called Mookie Betts up.

So much for being Jacoby Ellsbury's heir apparent.. Red Sox fans and media are now saying he's no more than a 4th outfielder.

2014 WAR

Jackie Bradley Jr. 1.6 (387 PAs)

Colby Rasmus 0.5 (332 PAs)

2.1 dWAR for Bradley Jr. If Boston was a better offensive team, they could manage him in the lineup. Unfortunately, the big number for Boston is -0.3 oWAR, which they cannot afford to carry in the lineup.

In addition, Boston wants to see what they have in Mookie Betts and Brock Holt in CF, rather than continue to waste ABs on Jackie Bradley Jr. in Boston, as he is seen more as a 4th outfielder or defensive replacement, and likely will be dealt this offseason as part of a package for a bat.. David Ortiz isn't going to last forever, and they desperately need offensive help in Boston if they're going to contend in 2015 and beyond.

Can it. A run saved = a run scored. I'm sure this is a pure player development play. IE, they think it might be worth having Bradley go down for a month and have some success hitting the ball. If they were in contention I doubt they would have made this move as Bradley in his current form (offensive deficiencies and all) is a useful major league piece.

Here's a full explanation WHY JBJ got sent down, according to NESN:

http://nesn.com/2014/08/jackie-bradley-jr-s-demotion-not-a-reactionary-move-by-boston-red-sox/

Some of the highlights:

-Lack of consistency

-Recent 0-35 slump and decreased playing time to Brock Holt/Mookie Betts

-MILB options remaining

-.216/.288/.290 (ugly line!)

-Needs regular at-bats in AAA

"“We wanted some of that (pregame) work to see if it had a chance to play out here,” Farrell said Monday. “(We) felt like right now it was an opportunity to take advantage of the remaining three weeks left in the minor league season, hopefully to gain some confidence and some momentum when he comes back here. That’s the reason for now.”

So, basically exactly what I said. You are so deficient.

It must be pretty embarrassing to be Pujols

I'm guessing Albert is pretty happy being Pujols.
