It was pretty much the best.

Marshall get all kinds of high fives in the dugout after hitting Braun. He even got a standing ovation from the crowd. Then Lucroy steps up, hits a grand slam.

That seems really dumb. Basically if it literally went down like that it screams "suspend me" over a game in June. At least deny the obvious

It just reaffirms to things:

1.) Dbacks continue to live up to being the whiniest, butthurt franchise in baseball from the top to the bottom

2.) Kirk Gibson is dum

Also helps that the Dbacks are terrible this year. I liked the quote at the end of the game from Lohse talking about how they can keep winning the tough guy game, but there is no stat for it.

Wow

That sucks for Sizemore. I was excited to see what he could do this year even though he was playing for a team I don't like

The Trop looks awfully empty this afternoon. Can't image what it's going to be like in there come August and September.

I looked at the numbers last night

Remarkably, their attendance isn't down at all yet compared to last year. YET being the operative word.

Just took a look, can't see them averaging 17k a game for the remainder of the season. Shocked to see Cleveland at the bottom averaging just 15k.

If you lived in Cleveland, would you want to leave your house?

It's a shame bc that ballpark is really nice. They even have a kids zone (for us parents...lol) where there's multiple stations for the kids to play The Show, hit in the batting cage, and other stuff a couple hours before the game.

The surrounding area isn't inviting but I'm just talking about the field and stadium

Just saw Kris Bryant got promoted to AAA... I'm not a twitter guy but saw how he prominently featured his gf on it.. so I clicked on hers real quick...

anyways, I just was thinking how bad would it suck for her or a girl in the same situation when they got dumped one day...lol... they're on this roller coaster ride and get to ride the coattails of the celeb and get all this attention... then one day the dude is like "later"... I bet said girl would be f'd up for long time.

Ugh. Give updates on that.

MIAMI -- Marlins right fielder Giancarlo Stanton came out of the series finale against the Cubs in the seventh inning on Wednesday with a left wrist contusion. He is day to day.

Stanton grimaced after striking out to end the fifth inning, but he came back to play in the sixth, even catching the final out.

Manager Mike Redmond took Stanton out of the game in the seventh, however, and moved Marcell Ozuna over to right field. Reed Johnson came in to play in left.

Stanton crashed into the wall on Chris Coghlan's double in the first inning and was shaking off his left shoulder. After his fifth-inning strikeout, he shook out his left arm.

The crash didn't seem to affect Stanton in the first inning, as he drilled a 2-1 pitch to right-center field for his 20th homer. He went 1-for-3 on Wednesday.

Tampa and Boston both on the verge of being shut out

Papi just tied it up in the 10th after the Red Sox only had 1 hit through 9 1/3
