Convo Verified Member Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Let me rephrase that. People still read print magazines? Not me lol
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Not me lol I remember bringing print magazines to fantasy auctions. It all seems so primitive now.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Pineda's injury was likely because he did not use enough pine tar lol.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Let me rephrase that. People still read print magazines? I still don't understand how magazines like Hustler/Maxim are in business. Let alone, strip clubs. I mean, you can get better s*** than clothed woman in magazines with naked women for free on the interwebz.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 People don't go to strip clubs for the same reason they look at porn. I know I go to strip clubs because I like the enjoy the art of dance. Bitches be talented.
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 I know I go to strip clubs because I like the enjoy the art of dance. Bitches be talented. I like fake titties.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 I remember bringing print magazines to fantasy auctions. It all seems so primitive now. I bought a couple magazines for the fantasy season. It was akin to like a cheat sheet that I used prior to the draft just to refresh the noggin. The first one I got was Lindors I think and their projections were extremely laughable if I remember right...just numbers from thin air really. But it was good just to read all the capsules for the positions just so the players were fresh in mind. I did that instead of spending hours making spreadsheets.... I was shocked how much they cost on a shelf though.. I think the first one I got was $10.. Then I got a different one because I didn't like the lay out of the first one and that one was $8
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 @danconnollysun This doesn't come as a surprise. AL team that claimed Steve Pearce before he became a FA was Toronto Blue Jays, accdg to an industry source

Could be a really nice platoon with Sierra though. 116 wRC+, unregressed.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 anyone have a mlb.tv subscription that they can send me as I would really like to watch Wood vs. Fernandez 2.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Sabathia is murdering the outside part of the plate to right handed hitters. In a bit of trouble, 2nd and 3rd, two outs. Edit: apparently it's against both sides of the plate, that was pretty filthy.

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Man, the Mariners are bad.. BTW, the Red Sox are making Bedard look somewhat decent right now.. 2H, 2BB, 3K in 3.1 IP as I type.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Ugh, Stefan Romero is terrible..
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Wood getting hit hard. Lots of line drives hit against him. He's an interesting guy with some odd mechanics. Looks like he could get in trouble when an ump shrinks the zone a bit. He is out of the game now
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 (edited) Hech just crushed a double to straight away centre. Now just showed Simmons what it's like to face Simmons robbing Andreleton of a base hit diving up the middle. Edited April 30, 2014 by TheHurl
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 How many people saw that Billy Hamilton home run clip and wondered if he'd cross the plate before the ball left the park?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Mike Zunino is giving the Yankees nightmares, with a 4-4 night. And Sabathia didn't pitch well again.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Jays need to sign this guy: Boxy,........that's you?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Bryan Hoch Michael Pineda has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 strain of teres major muscle (back). Will be seen by Dr. Chris Ahmad tomorrow in NYC. Well, it was good while it lasted for the Yanks.. hope Tanaka can carry this team, because Sabathia isn't doing it.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 lol Jose Fernandez is a legit bad ass. 10/10

They say he is out for 3 or 4 weeks but that sounds worse than that time frame

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 The Marlins could trade Jose Fernandez and Giancarlo Stanton for probably all the top 10 MLB prospects right now They're sitting on gold
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 The Marlins could trade Jose Fernandez and Giancarlo Stanton for probably all the top 10 MLB prospects right now They're sitting on gold If one team has the top 10 prospects in the MLB and trades them for those two, the Marlins lose the trade lol what a bright future the have, I'm very jealous
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 With Loria as owner, he'll be pawning them off as soon as they get expensive. Stanton first, then Fernandez.
