Pretty depressing way to start the winter meetings but definitely an awesome, class-act move by Halladay. He was really appreciate here by the fans, it's too bad he couldn't win here with us.

He was taken for granted but he was also the most beloved athlete in Toronto at the time I would say, after Sundin and maybe Bosh. Difference is Sundin f***ed the leafs by not letting them trade him but whether it was selfish or not Halladay helped the Jays by letting them trade him (although his shortlist didn't help.)
