LOL. He was once a Pharm star, but he was flipped to Hurl at some point (Kipnis trade I think.) Either way, I still believe the No49 +2 WAR bonus applies to former Pharmers also.

As a Fowler owner...don't like the deal. I think Barnes kills lefties in Colorado. Can play the field, he and Dickerson in a platoon out-perform Fowler. True platoons, everyone is doing them...well except for AA

Oakland, Colorado, and San Diego have really stepped up their platoon game today. I love it.

 

keeps players affordable as an added bonus. Injuries usually force these players into too many AB's in their weaker position but that's why you do it with good defensive players like Barnes.

Like the Rockies side a little better. Fowler's just okay and is getting more expensive. Lyles is young enough to be worth taking a chance on and Barnes isn't useless either.
