Very doubtful New York loses Cano and Kuroda, if they do they will be hurting this year. Same goes for Boston, Ellsbury would be a big blow and if Drew goes they got Xander and Middlebrooks on the left side something i wouldn't be to excited about if i was a Boston fan.

Why wouldn't they be excited about Boogers being their starting SS? Top 3 prospect in the game and a cheap option.

jays have SS locked up for 3 years. it's second, 1st, C, LF and the rotation they need to fix without taking from any of the other positions.

he's an exciting player. I'd hope the jays can fill some of the holes in their roster with a couple exciting players.

 

ticket sales growth wont continue without some good moves this off season. the sheep will not be as easy to fool this year. season tickets and flex packs will fall if people dont see a move in what is at least perceived as a move in the right direction.

Right. Like all these superstar prime FA guys you'd pay the AAV if you could get him for 5-6 years. But there's always some desperate team (Angels, Tigers, etc) who will make it 9 or 10. Blech.

As a TB Rays fan i would be thrilled if the Jays did this. As a jays fan, why would we want an ARod like contract on the books and not address the more pressing needs. catcher and starting pitching. It's not going to happen. no way. ever.
